Therapist Information & Treatment Focus

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) providing psychotherapy to teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in treating complex trauma and chronic illness. I have 15 years of experience in the mental health field, providing quality services.

I am dedicated to listening, understanding, and helping individuals discover new perspectives in their lives. I support clients in being present (mindful) by assisting them in using their past experiences and future goals to make conscious choices in the present.

I approach therapy from a client-centered, strengths-based perspective, recognizing everyone's capacity for self-understanding. I believe individuals benefit from clinical support to enhance self-awareness in a pro-social way. I incorporate how the past and present interactions impact our daily lives. I offer a caring, authentic, and transparent approach, empowering clients to broaden their perspectives, gain insights, and grow as individuals. Furthermore, my personal experience with chronic illness provides a unique perspective on this clinical specialty, enhancing my ability to support those directly affected, both individually and as caregivers.
